NRX + JWR VS NRX + MBR

Featured Replies

Jwr stands for jig worm rod and are designed to excel at bottom contact presentations obviously. The mbr’s are known for being on the moderate side of fast and excel at chuck n wind lures like spinner baits, chatter baits, swimjigs etc. but can also do bottom contact.

Trying to assess this all.  Very confusing.  The conquest MBR is more expensive and from what I gather has eveyrhting the new NRX+ has.  Can anyome confirm?  So what does the NRX + bring to the table?

Without making this a page long lol the Conquest is more powerful than the nrx series. Rods can handle baits / lures that weigh a little more. The NRX + and conquest are similar in sensitivity for bottom contact. If you want a rod that can do a lot of different techniques run with a MBR. They cover a lot of bases. Conquest had more fast action options over the original nrx series but the new plus series brought them back. Not sure if Loomis will keep conquest around or not at this pt.
