Could have been much worse…

So … I got home from work friday. All was well until I tried to change clothes. I tried to pull my shirttail out to take it off but something was keeping it in . So I pulled harder and could feel it pulling my boxers up too. I looked closer and somehow a fish hook had hooked the bottom of my shirt and the top of my boxers together!!

It was a bream hook but I have never fished while wearing this shirt. I cant imagine how it got there.

Another few inches and it could have really been interesting!

The hook barb had my shirt, and the eye was stuck through the boxers. Glad it wasnt the other way around!!?

Whew!

Its a good thing you had boxers on underneath!

It could have grabbed something you don’t want it to grab!!

I think it probably came out of a shirt or pant pocket you put it in and came out in the washer or dryer cycle and found your shirt.

Anyway, you’re a lucky man ?

But I never put hooks in my pockets. I usually  keep them in storage boxes or the packs they come in… I did find one on the floor at my fishing table the other day.

That could have made for a crappie day.

Thank God it wasn’t a worm hook. Imagine a Texas rig on the ol’ you-know-what!! ?

I reckon stuff is bound to happen as much as I fish…?
