Emtf, diablo spec r vs 843, 903 and 883?

Featured Replies

Out of all these rods which one would you choose for mid diving cranks and lipless cranks? Yes I know not all of these are crankbait specific rods. Secondary use would be small swimbaits in the 1/4 to 3/8 jig head with a 4” swimbait.

If you wanted a shorter rod then the 843. If you want a longer rod then the emtf. in my opinion, at least in the xx line up the emtf is a unicorn. No, it’s not the lightest but it can be used from anything from a crank bait to a jig. It’s special.

I have the GLX 843MBR and the Orochi EMTF, I prefer the EMTF if you're casting further, but I'm not sure you can go wrong with either.
