Chatterbait hacks

Featured Replies

After my epic day yesterday fishing a tube, I stumbled across a YouTube video that showed a different chatterbait presentation that caught my interest. The idea is getting a chatterbait, take off the skirt, and then replacing it with a tube.

For the life of me, I can't find the video now!

Anyway, here's a picture. 212056232_Screenshot_20220101-194203_SamsungNotes.jpg.ed091939da99e74c3d4adbea6af10810.jpg

Meh, if you had a bunch of chatterbaits with poor skirts, it's worth a try. The key is keeping the chatterbait close to the bottom like he's hunting. Pop it on your retrieve. It just sparked my interest.

Matt Stefan Fishing on YouTube has one.
