Replacement for 6 inch hula grub

Featured Replies

I want to use a 6 inch hula grub for a jig trailer but seen they do not sell it. I went onto a couple tackle websites and could not find a knock off does anyone still buy these from anywhere? if not what would you say would be a good replacement?

Never seen them that big.  Barlows has some they call 5" on closeout. (They look a lot like Big Bite 5")

The chompers 5 inch is a pretty decent size, maybe a little bigger than the Yamamoto 5 inch?

I grabbed these last summer and they served me well if you're up for a large single tail...

GYCB never made a twin tail 6” Hula grub that I am aware of.

You can go online search GYCB Hula Skirts, still available.

Also look for Twin tail 6” grubs. Simply weld the Hula Skirt to the soft plastic grub and make your Hula Grub.

Another option is use Fat Ika and cut if off 1” and weld to 5” GYCB twin tail grub.
