These 3:16 lures are just beautiful

I ordered two of the 6" wakebaits that they just came out with. The top is the 7.5" Wake jr for comparison.  Stripers are going to just tear these apart. :D

Very nice looking baits. They have some similarities to this swimbait:

They are amazing. I have 5 of their hardbaits. 2 Armageddons, 1 1-up, and 2 wake jr's. I WANT MORE!!!! They flat out whack fish too!

Those sure 'nuff are beauties.

I have had great results with mission fish, but I also bought a sidewinder and can't get it swim with any kind of meaningful action.  Any tips?

Sorry Avid, no real tips from me. You have to understand, that bait came out a LONG time ago and was way ahead of its time, being that is has no boot tail and no lip. The one that I had must have had about 25 nail weights in it by the time I gave up, LOL! The mission fish on the other hand is SUPER SWEET!!!

I had one that swam with a great S type of action but you had to retieve it faster than most.  Problem I had was that the thing ripped in half on the cast before I caught a fish on it.

Ok fishChris

Avid here tellin that FER SURE it is time to get some hard ground under your  boots.

You been out on the water WAAAAAAAAAAAY to long.

I mean if you woulda said Paris Hilton?   -   No problem.

But Jessica Alba???????????

You gotta get grounded dude.

These are plastic fish.    I know they are beautiful,   But Jessica Alba????????

Man you gotta get outta the sun, son. 8-)

Now if FC would of said as good looking as Avid's daughter than Russ and Avid would of pounced on him, jk :o

Those are sweet looking baits but not sure theyd do much good in God's country (Iowa).  :D

I think you might be surprised about how this lure would work in other parts of the country. For one, its really not that big of a swimbait. And about the paint, I think the trout pattern means very little (plus their are those other color patterns). To a bass, its a small fish, and therefore, its a meal. Then, with two razor sharp Owner ST 36's swinging around underneath it, even just those crazy "slappers" are liable to get this lure wrapped around their head !

But anyway, if the size still puts you off, the new 3:16 baby would certainly work for you.

Peace,

Fish

Food for thought, if your using a swimbait most likely your fishing for a trophy size fish, which obviously varies depending on location. In my mind any bass over 6-8lb easily eats a 6in. fish for supper when they're in the right mood. I'm in Mass and I've got a 6in. Castaic Rainbow on the way. I think in the next couple years they'll be a lot more anglers around the country using swimbaits. I think it's just something that hasn't caught on yet.

BTW, all the swimbaits pictured in the thread are absolutely beautiful baits. I'm very excited about getting mine and using it.
