Florida - Ark Rods

Featured Replies

Looking for some advice/opinions for the guys and gals using Ark Rods.

The last 2 years I have been blessed to visit Florida and fish everything from Okeechobee to golf course ponds.  I'm looking to buy a "utility" rod that I can throw some braid on and keep down there to have at the ready.

I was recently exposed to Ark rods, and the Invoker Pro is currently on sale.  My question is which model would be the most versatile, specific to Florida?

7'3 Mag MH

7'4 MH

7'6 H

Other?

I have no experience with Ark rods but a mag MH or H would b the most versatile.

Agree 100%. I have 2 Tharp Hammers, 4 Tharp Money Makers and 2 Lancer Pro heavys in my Florida kit and they perform perfectly. Check out Tight Splice Charters on You Tube, he has some good videos on his preferred Ark's for the Big O. Brian.

I'd go 7'3" Mag MH for a utility rod. Love my Tharp Moneymakers for Jigs, Trigs, Frogs etc. For pitching into the really thick stuff the 7'6" H is a better choice. Tharp King Cobra is my everyday pitchin stick.
