Today was tough. Very cold by our standards. Cold!  Fishing was slow. But I managed to fool one fish. 
 

hehe.  So fun.  5.2lbs.  I was so lucky to bring it in.   In my excitement I pushed the button and went free-spool.  Minor backlash.  Opps. 
 

 

At least that one bite was the right bite! Gorgeous bass, congrats.

Most of my biggest catches, including my PB, have came on absolute grinders where there was just one or two bites all day, but they were the right ones! I still consider those days a success in my book, well done sir!

When I do fish in the cold weather I don't catch very many fish but I seem to catch bigguns....
