  • Of course it is to show off.  I don't post pics anywhere when I find deal on ground beef.....or when I get my oil changed. I don't photograph every fish...unless it is a catch/photo/release tourn

  • IMO, the only one that any of that really matters to . . . .  Is You. Do what feels right & fun. Because that's all there is. Just keep doing you. Everyone else is already take

What biting off more than they can chew ? Lol

My pictures are my trophies for my man cave. It's gotta be a legit big one though for me to stop and take pictures of it, especially if I'm by myself.  However if I'm going to take the time to take pictures I want it to be a really good picture which can take A LOT of attempts to get it just right. Truthfully I'm happy with even one really good picture per season. To me they represent the passage of time. It's also interesting to see how the quality of the photographs themselves have improved over the years as I've learned how to take better ones and am also more patient and persistent with trying to get them just right.

I take pictures of some fish now days. I used to take pictures of every fish but now only stand out ones. Weird markings, big and healthy, caught on a weird lure, or if its a Panfish if its big and has a really nice color pattern. I used to take pics of Every. Single. Fish I caught and it filled up storage on my phone after a while.
