Hello,

My dad recently gave me some of his old musky cranks. I'd like to do a little research and maybe try them out as big bass baits, but I'm having trouble identifying them. The bottom one is marked as Matzuo and is 6.5" long (not including the bill), the others have no markings. Based on the shape and testing I can figure out how to use them, but would like to know what they actually are as those little details are part of what makes the whole experience fun to me. Any help is much appreciated. Long time lurker, starting to post more.

The top one is a jointed Bomber Long A Minnow . I never owned a jointed one .

That makes sense, it is the 6" model. Looks to me like it could be a decent wakebait?

The Matzuo pictured is probably a discontinued bait. I used to use a similar bait that had three trebles & the body measured 4.5" long on Lake Erie for smallmouth bass in 15-30 fow. All three of those baits would be good for walleye, pike & skis. They would be worth a try for largemouth.

Matzuo shad bait.
