We get quite a few questions here about matching the rod size to the technique. So I made this quick video to help sort it out. Clear as mud, right?

    Mud? I'd say more like 'clear as sludge'.

     

    You are right though - most of it has to do with personal preference.

    10-20 lb BG for BC, 6-10 lb XL on spinning, 50-65 PP on frogs, roll the credits...

    The only Technique I know was my phonograph....
