That's a nice boat. But for that money it ought to be electric. And it looks like it really needs a trailer. I feel like I could get a jonboat with trailer, add a deck and trolling motor for less, which is something that becomes more appealing to me as I get older. 

Well, if that's a kayak, then so is this...

I agree. 170 pounds and a rig that size needs a motor and definitely a trailer. I'd like to try one before I say it's too heavy to pedal I guess, but dang.

 

However...looks like you can fit rods in those pontoons. That's a ton of storage space.

 

I sometimes have a knee-jerk reaction to find the negatives in something new though. Storage looks insane. Seat height as well. I wouldn't mind trying one out, you can definitely fish from it. Plenty of deck space.

 

Wheels for 170 pound kayak, I think I'd just take em off. I'm not pulling that thing up a boat ramp.

 

Can't justify the price though. I could buy two of my kayaks and strap em together and have $$$ left over for a motor and battery.

The Angler 360 can be disassembled fairly easy - pontoons on the SUV rack and platform / seat in the back or for storage in a garage . I'd add an electric trolling motor on it and probably go with a trailer as well ... A Kayak sits too low in the water for me in the seated position plus getting up and down is a real pain in the knees .

Sounds like a whole bunch of hassle to me. I'd much rather just back my boat in and go fishing. You can buy a used fully rigged small jon and trailer for that kinda $$$.

Yes , I agree I would not go the assembly / disassembly route like that . I'd be curious what kind of stable enough to stand in jon boat , motor and trailer you could get for $5,000 ?

How about a fully rigged aluminum G3 bass boat & trailer: picked mine up for $4000 a few years back. Didn't have to look too long to find a nice used boat at a good price. Things may be different now.

I have used one that was outfitted with pedals.  I absolutely would not do that again.  It was ridiculous and a complete waste of energy.  Motorized it could be good but for that price you can get other options that would be better in my opinion.
