You learn something new every day I guess, but I'm surprised I had not heard this before.  Luxxe is a maker of fine JDM rods and are owned by Gamakatsu....something that surprised me a few years ago.  Just my random Saturday coffee drinking gossip.

    They don't own it outright like they do VMC, Sufix, Storm and others - they just own 49% of 13-Fishing...and international distribution rights.
