First bass on a DIY jig

Featured Replies

First fish on first cast with my first diy jig!!
only fish I caught in about and hour and a half of fishing! Catching a fish with a bait you made from scratch was pretty cool. 1/2oz black and red arky jig.

Look out.  I can see 10,000 home made baits in your future.  It will be jigs.  You will need at least 10 different molds.  Then spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.  Next you will want custom plastics and a whole new world awaits you.  There is no end.  WELCOM ABOARD.  I’ve been doing it a long time and just keep adding to me stash.

Nice! I like that skirt. What colors are those?

Black and red.

Weird. On my computer it looks like more than two colors. Must be an octipal illusion. Thanks
