What if it isn't just digital companies?  Maybe the rest of us are all AI....you might be the only one left.

 

  In fact I'm pretty sure I know of maybe a few that are only artificially intelligent. 

have had really horrific AI calls to Citi bank trying to talk with a live rep.

Up to or more than 5 minutes just to finally hear the words "the wait time to speak with a representative is longer than 30 minutes"

I went to the Spectrum store for live help.  A I sign in.  Save paper. O K

 

  But 30 other people waiting for help. At least 5 to 10 minutes each ?    150 to 300 minute wait ?

 

   Oh well    Let us all eat cake

Old folks have the best complaints, just bring the BPS paper catalogs to read while you wait...

 

I can not wait for help.  At the same time I am waiting for death.

And then you get the rep who is even dumber than the AI.

When big banks use call centers the workers are all trained to read out of a scripted book giving them the answers to your questions.

Some workers are more experienced with the book while newbies struggle to find the section you need answers to.

Citi bank uses a call center in the philippines while some of my other banks are direct calls to the bank where you first go through the que but then get to speak direct to the bank employee in say kansas city state bank.
