    Large low profile reels don't make sense, you will not be palming one, a round one is what you want, unless you are using cheap fluoro... :)

    it is possible to palm a tranx 500? I have the tranx 400A and its fine to palm but I think it weighs 7 oz less than the 500. the 500 is a beast!!
