President XT issue

Featured Replies

I have a President XT 35 that I bought earlier this year that on my last trip began to bind when reeling. I don't know if I got it wet or what have you. It's in fantastic shape and I have fished it a dozen times, primarily throwing a fluke or shaky head.

Does anyone have any idea? I've sent two emails to Pflueger about it and cannot get a response.

Plueger's response time to e-mail leaves a lot to be desired lately. I asked a simple question...took 5 months with a couple more e-mails to get an answer.

@Delaware Valley Tackle - Mike, you got any ideas for the gentleman?

First, I haven’t been able to talk to anyone at Pure Fishing since the Covid lock down so I feel ya. I have the fix for the binding. Call or email me and I’ll help you out.

forget about getting a response from pure fishing pflueger, if you need parts look at the pure fishing website you were allready on and look for the service center nearest you or any service center you want and they will order the parts for you. I used the service center in missouri and recieved my impossible for me parts to find within 2 weeks from date of order
