Personal Style

Featured Replies

So I know many fisherman, especially tournament anglers have stickers or t-shirts etc. that advertise their sponsors or favorite lures. What are some of the favorite things everyone has as their own 'individual touches' to either thier truck or boat. This can be window decals, lucky towels, anything really that makes it unique or lucky. I personally found this sticker at work and thought it would be funny for my boat. I put it on the back of the motor and put the HP sticker over the '4' in this photo. I will try to remember to take a picture of it on the boat.

Personnaly, I don't advertise for anyone that does not pay me. I try my best not to buy cloths that have logo's on them. I don't put stickers on. I even make dealer's take their decals off my vehicles. I tell them if they want to take their advertising charge out of the cost of the vehicle and pay me a small sum, they can put it on, otherwise take it off.

I have this thing about paying for anything that's going to make free advertisement for the company selling it.   Granted, the way many things are today like Nike, Under Armor and many other brands, that impossible to do if you want a quality item, but I dang try my best to.

A man after my own heart.  I don't put bumper stickers, window decals, or anything like that on my truck, or my boat.

They won't generate cash, or make me a better fisherman.

If it's reciprocal, for a good cause, or friend, fine.  Other than that, they look like they did when they rolled off the assembly line, electronics, and other gizmos aside.

I plan on putting a picture my 5 year old colored of us in the boat on board for good luck.  I like sentimental things.  Good point about not advertising for free, I'll try and remember not to do that.

Megastrike, Rage Tail and *** on the boat.

All three are run by great people and all three have been MORE than generous with their time and products.

I also have an Army National Guard sticker on there, given to me by a friend in the military.  The reason for that should be self-explanatory.

I have a WileyX sticker on my truck...it doesn't make money for me, but helps out the doctor I work for.  I also have a Luther Corp (the company owned by Lex Luther sticker)...just because I think it's cool and different.  I also also have a Stratos sticker on my truck.  It's not the advertising I think of, it's the pride in ownership of  my boat that I waited a long time to get as well as a lot of money.
