Florida has them, yea.

but the Amazon is kinda the thing we are going for.  some trips fly you in on a float plane!!!  sure there isn't a Red Lobster or Olive Garden with the yummy unlimited bread sticks..but we are hoping for some adventure and see things.

Captain Shane Procell guides out of the Miami area for both bass & peas and runs a yearly trip to Brazil. He recently went for two weeks sponsoring two groups. He is a stand up guy.

Anglers Inn is top notch, I have not used them yet for the Amazon, but 4 or 5 that I traveled with to Panama last year used them for their trip and they couldnt stop talking about the service.

Drew in south Florida is a great guide and coordinates trips yearly. Tell him Sam sent you from the Hawg hunters.

It's been a few years since I've made the Amazon Trip (Covid restrictions) but try Pamela Howard she's very good and the trips I've been on with her have been worthwhile.

I've made seven trips to the Amazon and if you want to discuss please let me know and I'd be happy to provide any advice or help I can.

Florida does have peacocks but they don't grow as big as the ones in the Amazon.

Good luck with your trip

I have been 3 times. The last 2 was with Acute Angling. I believe they are the best. The service and food is top notch.  This was a 21 I caught in September of 2021. It was ab big fish exploratory trip.
