Which rod would you buy? Will be used mostly with square bills/lipless. Dobyns champion dc 705cb or g. Loomis imx pro 855c cbr?

    I'm a fan of both and you'll likely be happy either way, but you may want to also consider the IMX Pro 845.

    I can't compare the 2 rods because don't have the imx pro 855c. I do have this rod https://dobynsrods.com/product/dc-705cb/ with a  Shimano Scorpion 71 on it. I happen to use the same 2 style of baits as you ask about. I do like this set up a lot & don't think you could go wrong with this rod

    me too, fan of both, I would look which one is lighter and cheaper and that would be my choice.
