kietech storage

Favorite ways to store your 3.3 and 3.8 keitechs? bass mafia bag store loose in there without the package or a plano box/ any other successful ways?

The only 'special' box I have is for spinnerbaits.  Everything else goes in plano thin 3700's (3701).

Plano 3600 for me for that size. My color choices are fairly similar and they don’t bleed that much so I lump them all into two or three sections of a 3600. Bigger ones (5”+) stay in the factory pack and I’ll grab a pack or two depending on the day.

I keep them in the clam shell until I use them.  I dont use them nearly as much as I use the Easy Shiners or Swing Impacts so I dont have to keep a ton of them around.  Keitechs are pretty soft, even in cold weather they dont tends to set like other baits.  If you do want to carry a good number of colors and sizes and keep them perfect, you can cut around the edges of each bait leaving an 1/8 or 1/4 of plastic around each bait.  You wind up with individually shelled baits.

Out of the clam shell and into a 3700 Edge Flex. Something like 10 packs will fit in there. Otherwise they are way too bulky. If you have a lot of 3.3's you'll probably get more like 13 or 14 packs.

I do ensure that they never get pressure on the end - they all lay sideways in the box. IE bait is parallel to the ground or deck, so I haven't seen a tail bent enough to matter yet.

The seal is nice to keep the wonderful squid scent in the box.

I keep all my a-rig specific paddletails in one of the 6th sense bags with the double zippers. It works great. I don't go through enough of the (mostly smallish) paddletails so my rationale is that more time eventually might lead to kinks, and I have shapes/sizes/colors that I may only use a few times per year.
