Braid too loud? Thinking of going to higher pound FC for flipping/Pitching

Any rod that has Fuji alconites or better should not be damaged by braid.

I don't know anything about guide brands.   The braid may have had nothing to do with the damage.   I'm not naming the brand because I don't want to scare anyone away from the rods.  One rod had " Fuji tangle-free K-guides feature tough stainless steel frames and super-hard SiC inserts"    One of the inserts fell out on this rod.  The other had "Fuji® FaZlite guides".   A guide broke off on it.

Probably not the rods fault anyway.  I had bent the guide putting the rods in and out of the storage on my boat, while on rough water.  I've since started putting my rods on the deck at the landing, and putting them back when I get back.

FWIW it's not my Lew's rods.

I love that violin string sound the braid makes going thru the thick stuff.  LOVE.

and that tight-a guitar string sound when a bass grabs on, and I set the hook?  LOVE!!

My friend had 2 where the guides grooved out using braid. We looked on the web and found other Complaints of this happening. Like I said I would only buy alconites or better . I've never grooved a Fuji alconites or sic and I've been using them since they came out with braid. I've never had one pop out either.
