Lews Jerkbait and Chatterbait Rod?

Featured Replies

Looking for advice on a couple rods by Lews. From any of you with experience with Lews, what would you suggest from Lews for jerkbaits (110 and 110plus1) and chatterbaits(1/2oz jackhammer). Thanks I’m advance.

I can’t offer advice for the jerk bait rod but I have a previous version TP1 7’-3” med hvy moderate fast. Although I don’t throw chatter baits on mine it was supposed to be excellent for that exact purpose. The new version (TP1X) falls into your weight range at $109.95. I’m not sure if they have the same blank in any of their other lines.

I own this one, and am happy with it

for $100 price point. I specifically use it for the Fluke,Rouge or chug bug.

I guess KVD really liked his burgundy colored Quantum crank rods....enough that he had Lews make a copy of it.

Lews made the whole line of them.
