Featured Replies

I don't night fish much, but when I do spinnerbaits seem to rock the house.

what do y'all consider you most productive night time spinnerbait?

I have been doing well on a black 1/2 oz  single spin which I make.  I down sized the blade to a #4 Colorado and use braid.  That thing really thumps and it getting me some good fish.

Stanley Wedge

Avid , get a 1/2oz spinnerbait with deep cup black nickel single colorado blade size 5  and short upper shaft.

As for the skirt : black with red or blue flake.

Avid, IMO I would go with a double colorado and the biggest sizes you can get away with. This will give you maximum vibration and the fish will find it easier, especially in those muddy florida waters.

As for the skirt I would go with black/blue or black/red.

And don't forget to add a trailer to bulk your bait up, and also a trailer hook.

I was wondering single or double blade

I like Stanley Wedge double willow leaf because they are the only willow leaf that has the vibration of a Colorado blade plus they will go through grass better than a Colorado.

I was wondering single or double blade

single blade with short shaft produces the max vibrations

#3 Mepps Agile kills them every time.  Fish it slow just above the bottom or weeds what ever you are fishing.  I prefer the silver blade.
