How is it? I'm not a 2 pc. guy but I'm looking into getting one for mobility in certain situations. 

 

Are there any other 2 pc. rods in the $150-$200 range?

I was in the same boat and just picked up a major craft 7'9 2 piece MH 1/4-1.5oz.  It's designed for salt, but the mod/fast action and weight rating fit my needs.  It's a beautiful rod, handled 1/2-1.75oz in casting and retrieving Sunday.  Very well balanced and felt as sensitive as my expride 7'7H M/F.  I'm stunned at the bang for the buck so far at $150.  Unfortunately, no fish yet.

MC is all new to me, but with @WRB's experience with and recommendation of Iovino's splash it rod and the price point, I'm looking to add another.  They're made in Vietnam, if that's important to you.  FYI, there's about to be an updated Days360 series released and the fit of the 2 piece looks like this...

I picked up two Daiwa Rebellion 2 piece rods last year. Love them.
