This ^. I've tried most of the high dollar and  "you have to throw this" YT video walk the dog lures, and I keep going back to it. Color is up to the conditions, I do equally well on light colors like bone and shad, or dark ones, as well as forage colors. I don't find clear water makes a huge difference on color choice, but the amount of chop sometimes does.

Fun fact; Megabass makes a diamante silent. Clear gill was a killer for me last year.

I like a popper, just my 2 cents, I've used alot but really like splash-it, or yo zuris popper, the bigger ones seem to walk easier. I want to try a pop x even though they are pricey.
