MinnKota sent me a warranty replacement cam magnet. Installing this new piece is supposed to resolve the issue I'm having. They did not send, nor can I find any information detailing how to install it. I've looked on their website, this website, other fishing websites, and YouTube. It's only a few simple parts and it doesn't look like it's too complicated. However, I'm not physically able to do this myself and will need help. So I was hoping to get some information so that I can instruct my helper. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks, J

Have you tried contacting Minnkota? Call an authorized Minnkota repair person. They might be willing to help you solve your problem. Since this is a warranty issue, you probably don’t want to have to send it to get repaired as it will probably cost you $100 each way

If the TM is under warranty take it to an authorized dealer/ services. 

That would be my first choice but some people aren’t close

enough to a repair station. 

What's your exact model and year of manufacture for that TM @TetraFish'n?

Distance is somewhat of an issue. I would prefer to do it myself, and not drag it all the way to a service center.
