YUM bait ID

Featured Replies

Can someone ID this incase I end up liking them.  It came out of the bottom of the Walmart discount bin earlier in the year.  They were dry and a bit stiff indicating they are maybe older baits.  Noting on the yum site and no name on the bag. It's like a rage tail yum bait.  Weird.

Yum fan for the past few generations of their baits and I have not been able to correlate to anything they've had in their lineup.  I am familiar with this bait from the same place.

Recently you could find Gene Larew soft plastics in these packs, but I don't see anything from Larew's lineup either.

The local Walmart has 2 boxes of various yum soft plastics on the bottom shelf in the fishing departmen.  There are no names on any of the plastics and it seems to me the count per bag is lower than usual.  There 3-4 differnt types of soft plastic mixed together.  Walmart is selling it for like $2.99-$3.99 a bag

I’ve seen some similar to those at my local store. I have never been able to ID them anywhere either. I decided that they must be a Walmart exclusive. Let us know if they’re any good when you try them.

Their creature bait works. I did pretty good on the smaller beaver/trailer version of it last year. Caught a few on this larger creature style as well.

Wow that is it!

Took a while to figure out. Like just found them on tackle warehouse 2-3 months ago. Lol.

That's the one.  Thanks.  I bought it because they were cheap and looked like a really versatile bait that could be punched, fished like a lizzard, wobble head or even a jig trailer.

I have 3 bags of these.  I have Junebug and some kinda green pumpkin candy.  Always liked the look of them but haven't tossed them enough to catch a fish.  I noticed I hadn't seen them in the Walmart bargain bin in a while.  Maybe send YUM a message on social media.
