Swing head with paddle tail

Featured Replies

I just ordered some swing heads for the first time and will be using them next week. I have a few creature style baits selected to try out. The fishery I will be on as a ton of 6 inch bait fish. Seems like an odd application, but I was just curious if anyone has ever run a paddle tail on a swing head. Just thought it might match the hatch and offer a unique presentation.

YouTuber BassGeek will tell you it works. I tried it some, but not enough to have solid data. I like a rage menace or magnum menace.

I have used a paddle tail with some success.

However like @LrgmouthShad above,

Riding on a swinghead, a Rage Bug or Menace does most of the heavy lifting for me.

And fished in the right deal, it can be Lights Out !

It most certainly works, definitely worth a try.
