Summer baits for larger fish

Featured Replies

I think a Mister Twister phenom and a hang 10 worm would do the job

In no particular order: Buzzbait, Ole Monster, or 10in. Culprit, 1/2oz. jig/RageTail, Super Spook. What I basically do is eliminate the middle of the water column and concentrate on the top or bottom. I'll often dead stick the worm or Spook a number of times during a retrieve.

it’s rarely the lure and almost always the timing and location.

I use jigs because it’s a proven lure and presentation that doesn’t stay in the box. Use what works for you not me,the bass will eat it.
