I start Slow and pick it up if I have to I try to mix it up but I think we do fall into a cadence. Love that chug bug and Pop R

Hi Glenn. Thank you for the videos you create. I find them interesting and helpful.

I'm always counting something in my head, pretty much regardless of what bait I'm fishing.

With a walking bait, it's 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1, 1-2, pause 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc...

I try not to get into a pattern while retrieving popper or walking bait.  I might work the bait fast, or chug it, give it some small pops, or reel it in with barely any action all in the same cast.

Same. I feel like a predictable pattern is less “real” or something.  No clue if it really makes a difference.

Excellent. But I have no rhythm. I'll just keep using my uncontrollable twitches from too many impacts to the nugget to catch them.
