Line to Leader knot for small line

Featured Replies

Alberto here. I use it on 10-6 all the time and rarely have issues.

Sure there is better but Ive gotten to the point where I can tie it in the dark, with a 10mile wind so I aint changing up anytime soon!

That's the deal right there: can you tie it in the boat. I can barely get a good FG 60% of the time on my couch.

a knot you tie well on the water is way better than the "best" knot.

@WRB @Big Swimbait I agree on the Lefty Kreh knot. It’s all I use. It’s extremely simple to tie, it’s strong, it’s relatively small…and it’s extremely easy to tie!  I think the thing that many anglers react to is that you have to pre-cut the length of the leader first and after making the loop, you have to pull 6’-8’ of leader through the loop before tightening the leader and main line. But that takes seconds. I can tie that entire know from start to finish in 30 seconds.
