Has anyone had the opportunity to use one of the Powell Max 683C rods yet?  This rod appears to have exactly what I have been looking for in a rod, but I have not heard much about their performance.   IF anyone has used one let me know what you think.  

Hawgin, I own a 683c, medium-heavy action with a fast tip.  I love it.  I have it paired with a Shimano Citica 200d.  At the moment, it's my most sensitive rod and I think it compares well with more expensive rods.  I've included a quote I made in a previous post regarding this rod.

I have one.  It is a very good rod, and fit's the all-purpose category better than most other rods I have used.  Very sensative and pretty light.  It's a very hard rod to beat at that price point, I highly doubt you would be disappointed if you bought one.

I think Powell rods are catching on quickly.  They are inexpensive because they are made in China but they are not 'cheap'.

I think they may be the next hot rod in the marketplace.
