So I finally pulled the trigger on a boat cover and got the Dowco ratchet boat cover. I have a Bass Pro Shop tracker 175 TXW. It fits very nicely. I still have to fine-tune putting it on, which shouldn’t be to hard, but there is one problem. 
The transom strap “male end”in my opinion should be Connected to the strap, which to me would make a better fit. I went to bass pro shop, and they said no it needs to have the adjustable strap have a loop formed at the part that is in question. Does anybody have one of these covers and am I wrong? I hope I made sense. Any input would be appreciated.

I have one for my Z20 but I don’t have any idea of what you mean.  Are you referring to the one that goes under the motor?  Maybe they have changed as mine just has male and female ends and tightens with the ratchet.
