Megabass Karashi: any suggestions for replacement hooks?

Same suggestion.  Those are the ones I use for my Spy Baits.  

Would those hooks balance out well on a 110 Jr? I usually use Gama round bend 8s.

I use the Ryugi Pierce Dagger size 10. Megabass has feathered treble hook replacements for them in a size 10 as well.

Another vote for Gamakatsu round bends.  I've been using them for years and years.  I won't use anything else.

How the Ryugi Dagger size 10 treating ya? I’ve been using BKK Spear 21-SS size 12, but wanted something that was made in Japan.

Still using the Ryugi Pierce Daggers but have also tried the BKK Spear 21-SS and both work ok. The Spear might be slightly heavier but works fine.

I also took a gamble and bought a cheap no name hook on Amazon that is the correct size with the feather. They caught fish just fine. The feathers do fall apart after a while but it took several months of fishing before I needed to change them again.

I weighed the hooks for my Karashi to maintain the same sink rate.

As pointed out, #10 size.

I'm using the ST26. The ST36 is a heavier wire.

I've also made my own tail hooks. Top 3 Karashi are my tails (red thread), bottom one OEM.

Got a question for both you guys.

Do you add a split ring to this bait? I’ve seen other guys online talk about it but I personally haven't seen it in action. They say it gives it a wider glide or movement. Any thoughts?

I've added a split ring and also fished it using a snap.

I haven't been able to really tell a difference, personally.
