What ate the difference between the CHX model and DHX?  There both 2500 series.  Are there cosmetics differences in the knobs?

    Ds are deep spools. CXHs are shallow spools, but they still hold plenty of line, especially braid.

    Do u know if the knobs are different?  Kinda like the T shaped knobs.  I'd prefer the shallow spool

    The CHX has a smaller body.

    C stands for compact.

    HX stands for extra high gear ratio.

    If it has S, then that means shallow spool.

    The weight should be lighter on the CHX, due to the smaller body size.

    You can called Daiwa and order the bigger knobs if they are in stock.
