I had a nasty note left on my windshield yesterday by an angler complaining about my parking. I didnt have a trailer and was parked in the picnic area, in a designated parking spot. I dont know. I guess because I was fishing he wanted me to park with the vehicles towing boats. sheesh.   I'll park there from now on just because I dont want my truck vandalized

If I am understanding this correctly. Sounds as if you did nothing wrong? I would not park my truck (without trailer) in a spot designated for trailer parking as that is sure to get you a response.

I would not too but a lot of these nutty rednecks around here dont know how to "human". So if they want me to park 50 yards out of the way I'll do it.

I'm slightly confused too.  I couldn't tell if he parked in a spot designated for truck w/ trailer parking or not.

Where I fish, the parking lots have specific spots for vehicles with trailers and specific spots for standard auto parking.  Parking in the wrong area may or may not get you a ticket, but it certainly is going to peeve some people off.  Park where you're supposed to, not a difficult concept.
