Hello everyone,

I am a kayak angler based in Johns Creek, GA, and I often visit Maysville to see family. Recently, I've been fishing primarily in Cedar Creek Reservoir in Gainesville and Reservoir 51 in Commerce. However, I've been struggling to find good fishing spots in these areas over the past few months.

Could you please share any recommendations for fishing spots near Johns Creek, Gainesville, or Commerce? I'm open to lakes or even lesser-known ponds if you have any suggestions.

Hartwell too far? I’ve only fished it once but it was easy pickings

Lots of good shoreline water in Hartwell State Park SC. for canoes and kayaks.Just over the I-85 bridge.We camped there this past April and caught plenty.
