Been seeing these advertised a TON on Facebook, does anyone have one and if so what’s your impressions? Are they another Kastking?

Worse.  Looks like some of worst Aliexpress plastic reels sold at a mark up.  I'm glad Aliexpress reels exist for ultra budget anglers and will recommend the aluminum frame reels I have experience with but there are some absolute garbage reels out there and this is one of them.  I've seen that reel all over Aliexpress in the $20 range for years.  No way I would pay $50 for one.  If you want a cheap reel then look at something like the Seasir Megacuda.  It's $40 and has an aluminum frame.

Not looking for another reel, just have seen these advertised heavily and their back story seemed good but was wondering the quality of the reels.

The back stories are all made up nonsense.  They are selling a bottom of the barrel Aliexpress reel and making up some bull crap back story like Kast King did.  Why people are swayed by this I don't know.  A fishing reel is a mechanical object.  You can discern all there is to know from the object itself and when that object is a $20 Aliexpress reel then that is all there is to know.  Some made up origin story or their scammy shamwow website is not going to change the fact that they are selling a plastic Aliexpress reel for 100%+ markup.

Anyone who falls for this gets the fishing reel they DESERVE.

This person is straight drop shipping 10000% ... this is insane lol something about this cant be legal ... 

 

 

 

Like i said, not in the market for another casting reel, just get these ads INCESSANTLY on my Facebook and thought I’d see if anyone has given them a shot even though I figured they were cheap knockoffs of other reels.

This type of backstory is always the same, you see the same kind of buzzwords with watches. "Cutting out the middle man" "affordable high end/luxury" "gap in the market" etc. It's an automatic huge red flag.

Yup.  Looks like they are trying to pull what Kastking did in its early days and sell Aliexpress fishing products at huge markup to US anglers that have never heard of Aliexpress.  It's not that this is a bad idea or anything but they always way overcharge and sell the cheapest garbage.  There's all sorts of good Aliexpress stuff that could be sold in the US like the Johncoo Ares, Seasir Megacuda, that Artsea 95mm handle with the Zillion HD knobs, all the Ray's Studio stuff ect.  There is a market for people that simply won't buy off Aliexpress but at least bring over the good stuff.

It is sad. But just the other day I met someone who falls for this temu/ali stuff head over heels.  

 

I don't think they even bothered to proof their webpage.  Seems super shady the more I clicked on.

 

 

Let me start by saying it took nearly a month and a half to even get it delivered. 

I wish I could say it was worth the wait but I'd be lying. 

The reel itself feels flimsy and not put together like a solid reel should feel. If you have ever purchased a cheap reel from Amazon I got what you paid for, I horrible, not put together solid feeling reel, well I'd say the Amazon reel was better. 

As for the anti backlash technology, total bull. No matter what I did to the tension knob and the brake system I had backlash with every cast. I'm not a rookie, I've been fishing and using baitcaster for years and I've never had a reel backlash so much and so bad in my life, not even the first time I used a baitcaster. 

I'd avoid this fake reel at all costs. 

Especially with the current reaction on A/E algorithm to US IP address, shopping JDM makes more sense than ever. 

That said,  I recently bought a ferruled glass rod blade from an A/E store for reasonable price and shipping. 

Otherwise. They're adding duty fee to prices,  blocking IP, or adding stupid high shipping to keep US buyers away.

If you want to buy a $20 Aleiexpress reel then buy a $20 Aliexpress reel.  DON'T buy a $20 Alexpress reel from Amazon or where ever for $50+ because it's heavily marketed and "everywhere"
