Cleaning AR Bearings

How do I clean out the anti reverse bearings from Shimano baitcasters? Since they have nylon components, the cleaning solution should be selected carefully. Such as brake cleaners, I figured it would be a bad idea, as I think it can melt the nylon part.

Which particular reels are you cleaning?

I honestly don't on the newer reels but if I had to, plastic safe MAF cleaner would be a good choice I would imagine.

Unless it is failing I'd leave it as is.

I use SimpleGreen and water.
