I found the Ichikawa Kamakiri light wire in #8 to weigh the same as the stock trebles, according to my scale anyway.  Im a fan of the bend of the hook.  I find they stick em as well or better than round bends.

Are they not round bends?

The megabass plus 1 jr. Hooks are regular hooks and much stronger than the 110 outbarb hooks.   Why would you replace them?   Guessing you are new to the junior size...?

Yes they are stronger than the outbarbs, but they are still not nearly as strong as Gamakatsu and will eventually fail.

They have an Oshaughnessy bend like the g finesse hooks and the points face slightly in

I had thought the 110jr used gami or owner 1x 8s.  

Ive had them bend a little on carp close to 10lbs using casting gear, but I was just horsing the fish in.  Had it been a bass, I would have played her slowly to ensure the hooks don't tear out.  Using a hook that is heavier or larger will displace more water and change the action of the bait.  When you put all inline singles on a JB or any minnow bait, the action tightens, I suppose because of less resistance.  Its all preference I guess.

Nah they are ok for stock hooks and certainly better than the outbarbs but they are definitely not Gami or owner. 
 

I realize how sensitive this presentation is to even the most marginal weight or profile change so I weigh any hook or split ring replacement and only swap when something fails.

Ive been using the #6 1x round bend gamis on shad raps for years and they aren't much, if any better than the 110 jr hooks.  Ive got more 110 jrs than standards and ive never had a burr or dull point ever.  The hooks keep their point really well.  Any 1x hook is going to bend or gets stressed under heavy load.  The softer hooks will flex where the harder hook like g finesse wont, but instead of bending that harder metal breaks.

The only issues ive had with the split rings is corrosion after using them in SW.  Thats when I swap them out.  I have a harder time with balancing Duo JBs.  I have more issues balancing rozantes than 110s.  Sometimes theyre a real pita.

 

There is a You Tube video that shows the Vision 110’s action with different hooks. All but the OEM hooks really dampened the bait’s action. VMC has the light wire, outbarb hooks that are a direct replacement.

Vision 110 OEM hooks aren't garbage at all.

 

Americans tend to forget that the Vision 110 is a finesse jerkbait design.    

 

It's meant to be thrown on medium spinning rods with 8lb class line.    We've just increased that to medium baitcast rods and 12lb FC for the most part in America.  

 

So now re imagine making super long casts with 8lb FC using a medium action rod......finesse/small diameter hooks are paramount in order to penetrate with so little applied force from the tackle, combined obviously with super sticky hook points.   

 

The outbarb aspect to the design is another real, tangible benefit on any hook being used on a jerkbait, where fish many times only swipe baits rather than actually eating them.   

 

Just like everything else about a Vision 110.....the hooks are very purposefully designed.      Not to mention unlike the Jr series, at least we can easily buy replacement OEM Vision hooks.

The Kasuage hooks are outstanding. If you think that they're garbage you have been watching too many you tube pro's.

You have very low standards for hooks, “outstanding” hooks should not bend out after one or two catches or be sensitive to pliers.

I doubt there's any hook that you could put on a 11O that I couldn't bend with a pair of pliers. 

I buy the Katsuage in bulk locally but TW has them in stock usually. 

Don't fix what isn't broke.
