I have a Promar 2 bank charger for charging my (2) trolling motor batteries 24V.

The issue I'm having is only 1 indicator light is coming on where it's always been 2 displaying.

It was fine on my last fishing trip when I plugged up, both batteries charged completely.

Cleaned all the terminals, applied light coating of dielectric grease, checked fuses, water level good.

Multimeter is at daughters house 😕

Batteries are 4 yr old interstate.

What ya' think ?

I vote that one indicator light itself has gone caput.

My indidcator lights died on my 10 year old Dual Pro charger last August.  I know its not my batteries because those were less than a year old.

 

I relented to just buying a new charger for it.  10 years out of an original piece of equipment served its purpose.

Do you need to state the obvious 😄

It's the bank 2 light that's out so think I'm gonna stick in another deep cycle battery that I have lying around just to rule out a bad battery.

You could switch the charger leads on the batteries.  

Depending on how much you use your TM, you may have a battery with a dead cell. Some chargers will not attempt to charge such a battery. Get your hands on a meter and check each battery independently and then in series if both are showing 12+Volts. Then plug in the charger. and check again. If you're getting 13+Volt readings on both batteries, the light is the problem. If the voltage doesn't change on one battery, the charger isn't working. Also check the wiring coming from the charger, there lmay be a bad connection.
