bank fishermen, local town ponds and occasionally river bank. I feel like im covering my bases here for the lures I like to use. any other lures I can use with these setups?

 

7'2 mh/f bc 7.5:1 reel. 30lb braid for swim jigs,weighted texas rigs and buzzbaits

7'2 h/f bc 7.5:1 reel. 50lb braid for frogs

7'3 mh/m bc 7.5:1 reel. 30lb braid for 110 whopper ploppers ( My favorite bait to use)

7'0 mh/f bc (daiwa aird-x which feels more like a mh/mf) 6.8:1 reel . 15-20lb fluro for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits

6'10 m/f spinning with 15lb braid to leader for wacky rig and weightless texas rigs (I throw these alot)

6'6 m/f bc 7.1:1 with 10lb mono for jerkbaits, 60 and 75 whopper ploppers and small cranks

 

If that 7' MH/F feels more like a MH/MF, then you could throw cranks/lipless cranks on it. And I'd stay closer to the 15# fluoro than the 20#.

The MH Aird X's are odd, its almost like a hybrid between MF and F. Your suggestion is spot on, they make phenomenal lipless rods. My 7'3" found a permanent spot for just that.

 

But for OP heres some of my thoughts on additional uses for your combos

#1 will also do good with football jigs, chatterbaits, and paddle tail swimbaits in weeds/grass.

#2 flipping/punching lighter baits into vegetation.

#3 would make a great setup for fishing Strike King Hybrid Hunters too, along with toads

#4 Lipless, squarebills, heavier topwaters like whopper ploppers, big walking baits, smaller wake baits and under an ounce total soft swimbaits.

#5 also would work for tube jigs, ned rigs, again paddle tail swimbaits.

#6 you could also fish weightless Texas rigs on this, along with weightless flukes.

Yep - I personally rate the MH/F as more of a MF-F...not quite a true MF, but slower than an F. Which is why my 7'0" Aird-X MH/F is my spinner/chatter rod.

thats the main purpose for the one I bought. Still waiting for the reel to arrive
