OSP DoLive Beaver Creature Bait 3" and the OSP DoLive Beaver Creature Bait 3.5"

Featured Replies

What size hook and weights would be good to use with these? I thought about putting then on a ned head or a shakey head but also would like to texas rig them. Not sure if my 4/0 fusion and redline hooks be too big maybe my 3/0 be better and a 1/4 weight could be too heavy? Any other help would be great. Maybe also I can fish them weightless if they are heavy enough on my 8lb line or 15lbs braid on my spinning reels. P

3.5 use a 3/0 and 1/8th to 1/4oz.  Too heavy and the kick doesn't work as well.

It's a fantastic free rig bait, maybe the best and definitely worth a foray.  I've been using a 2/0 or 3/0 decoy dream worm15 hook and have been happy with my hook up/landing percentage.

This is among THE premier Free Rig baits.

The correct hook for 3.5 is a 2/0 and you need a bit of weight on the drop to activate the flappers...so a 1/4 oz is about perfect.

I fish the 3.5 and 4’s.

for the 3.5. I use a owner covershot straight shank in 1/0.  I’m rigged up now!   Lake berryessa tomorrow.
