Amazeing

Featured Replies

I was at a local tackle show today and got to play around with a Diawa Zillion some well needless to say they where sold out at the show so I went to Bps and pick one up. I like my shimano's but let me tell you the zillion is just a great real. I have fallen in love. Absoulutly amazeing. I actually like it better than my new chronarch 100b.      Speaking of Shimano and I still like them, at my BPS they had all of them on the bottom shelf where you could barely see them. Used to be the top shelf but when I asked why and I knew what the answer would be. The fishing dept manager said it was because they didn't want to participate in the reel trade in. According to him BPS thinks that shimano will lose out on about 2 million for not being in the reel trade in.

i totally agree ..... im a part of the shimano possie .... lol ..... but that zillion is so sweet ..... i went to my local sportsmans a few weeks back to spend some tax money ..... i baught a frog rod and a cu 201 with the burner speed .... while at the reel case i spotted a zillion .... well i ended up buying that zillion also ... then a week later i decided the cu was too big and just didnt fit in my hand the right way so i returned it for thats right another zillion ..... ill be using the 1st zillion on my st croix legened tourney bass frog rod ..... and the seconed zillion will go on a custom stick from reel mech for jigs .... man the ice wont melt quick enough  >:o

I'm honestly thinking of taking my new Chronarch Back and getting another zillion :o

I have always used shimano reels and about 6 weeks ago I bought a zillion. Now I'm hooked and want another one. Best reel I've ever haved used. Now I'm looking at getting another. Welcome to the zillion posse. ;D

I joined the Zillion Posse yesterday.  I've been itching to get a couple of 7.1:1's for throwing spinnerbaits and traps, and when Academy started carrying them, I pulled the trigger on a pair.  Solid and very refined...they don't feel a lot different than my TD-Z when it's in my hand.  I was sad when they discontinued the TD-Z in leu of the Steez.  I have XXL hands, and I can't effectively work worms and jigs with tiny reels like the pixy, alphas, or steez.  So I was left with going after the Fuego or Zillion, and after handling both, even with the Fuego weighing a little less; the Zillion just felt better for some reason.
