My boat was at the shop and a bunch of leaves and willows I think got into it and stained the carpet. 

 

I was going to vacuum up what's in there, I think the dealership already did most of it, and was gonna use my carpet cleaner with hot water. But I've never done this before and don't want to do the exact wrong thing. 

 

How should I clean the stains from my boat carpet?

Shaving cream. The foam kind, not the gel. Spray it on, scrub it in, let it sit 15-20 minutes, and rinse it off. Effective and cheap.

This is the winner here! Works wonders on just about any stain.

I’ve discovered Dawn Power Wash works great on my boat carpet grease stains after finally giving it a try.
