I ran across someone selling Mustad KVD hooks on ebay at a great price. It looks legit to me. It appears that they have purchased bulk hooks and are breaking them up into lots. I can't remember if I can post a link to ebay item in question on this forum. Do I need to be concerned with getting fake hooks if they look legit?

 

 

I ordered some eagle claw hooks from eBay. For what little I paid for them, don't care if they are legit or not. They are still catching fish.

Look at the seller's reviews.

Have you looked at Captain Hooks?  They are ligit.

They are the retail store for Shorty’s Hook sales.

I've ordered Mustad Tripple-Grips from a seller on that auction site. Never had a problem with them and as they came in the company's packaging I believe they're legit. BTW, he has a 98% positive feedback profile.

Check the seller reviews. I've bought plenty of tackle from ebay, as long as you're buying from a reputable seller you should be fine
