My thumb bar has a sticking issue that I have tried to have repaired a couple of times.  Anyone else have this issue?

It could be a lot of things. The first thing I would check is the worm gear and pawl. Make sure it is clean on both ends of the gear, check the pawl for damage and look for any missing parts, especially washers.

If cleaning and lubrication don’t fix the problem, look for the clutch link bar rocking and binding in the slide washers. Replace the washers and you should be good. If you want me to do it and check the rest of the reel send it in at your convenience.
