Both the BPS and the Cabela's Bass buckets are great to start up with. Both have some goofy colors in them but most are usable and do work. It is a great way to get several different types of platics to start out with. it is my experince that after you get them you will find what type of plastics you prefer , then it is best to find what you are using on sale and such.

I never have liked their brand soft plastic.  I have a couple packs of their stickbaits, and they seemed stiff, and cheaply made.  I wait until stuff like the YUM or ZOOM baits are on sale, and get them.  Better bait, for the same money.  Now, they won't never be cheap enough to beat that, but then again, on a quick glance at your picture, I doubt many folks actually use every size and color in there.

Yep I thought that too but they're nice to have, I went smallie fishing for the first time on a whim using the 2inchers, worked great

The good thing about this 200 Assorted Plastics for $10 is the free shipping.  Looks like you get free shipping on that AND anything else ordered at the same time.  Compared to normal shipping, the plastics are nearly free!

That's a lot of plastic for $10 but if they are not the correct colors or if they don't catch fish then it's not much of a value.

Simon, what color did you use to catch that smallie?  I'm going to Pony Pasture tomorrow and will be using grubs (among others).

Ya know what, I am probably gonna put one of these on my next order from there.  Ya see, it makes your whole order free shipping (unless it is something like rods that have an extra charge - then it only charges the extra charge)

Often, my shipping comes to be a lot higher than the 10 bucks.
