i like a 7'medium mod/fast for cranking. for jigs/worms a 7'mh fast or 7'heavy depending on the cover im fishing.

I like a 6-6 or 7' ML w/ a curado B5 for cranks and a 6-10 MH w/ a Calcutta for pitchin.

I generally like 7' Medium Power rods, but that is just personal preference. I think Power is a function of #1 the weight of the lures you are throwing; #2 the cover or structure you generally fish and #3 the size of the fish you target. So, with that in mind, my suggestions are:

For crankbaits:

7' Medium Power/ Moderate Action (soft tip). For heavier and deep running lures, Heavy Power/ Slow Action. (I recommend these same rods for all treble hook lures, depending on weight).

For soft plastics:

7' Medium Power/ Fast or Extra Fast Action (firm tip).

I use a 6'6" Medium/Moderate for cranks and a 7' Medium-Heavy/Fast for Weighted T-rigs.
